ABOUT ME

I'm from a lovely small town in rural Ohio. After graduating high school, I did the most logical thing I could think to do and became a business major at a liberal arts college - every actor's dream. I made friends with the theatre crowd, auditioned for a play, and changed my major to theatre shortly after that.

After undergrad, I moved to the marvelous city of Chicago where I was introduced to some of the most creative, beautiful, innovative and strange performance styles I have ever seen or been a part of. There I trained at Victory Gardens, Black Box Acting Studio, and The Second City Conservatory.

I left the Windy City in 2016 to get my MFA in Acting at Pennsylvania State University. Post-graduation I ventured to New York City to audition and produce short films. But when the pandemic hit I quickly realized I was missing my community and the classroom. I went on to serve as the Fine Arts Coordinator and Director of Theatre at Somerset Community College for two wonderful years.

Now based in Austin, TX, I’m continuing to work at the intersection of performance and education — building spaces for curiosity, collaboration, and a little bit of magic (on stage and off).

"Nobody ever asks me for my opinion so I really appreciate this. And Julie's okay."

-- My great Aunt Beth

"She's loud!"

-- My mother

"Unless you have at least an hour, don't get her started on Cheers."

-- Myself giving you important advice
